Samsung’s Smart TV Remote for Android Gets Live TV Streaming

Sure, having a TV remote app on your smartphone or tablet is neat, but what about one that can stream live TV? Well, thats exactly what Samsung is introducing. The company believes users will be interested in watching the same program or a different channel on their tablet or smartphone. However, the most likely use will be to channel flip without flipping channels on the big screen. The app can also come in handy for watching TV in another room when in fullscreen mode. According to SlashGear, the app expected to be available in the next 2-5 weeks and preloaded on the upcoming 8.9 and 10.1-inch Samsung GALAXY Tab works over Wi-Fi and leverages the TVs DLNA server capabilities.
